The official GED Test is administered through Hesperia Community Education for $50.00 per test. This program is designed for those persons who would like to earn the General Educational Development (GED) diploma. Students must earn a passing score on the Official GED Practice Test before they may take the Official GED Test. Instructional focus will be on the topics that are included in the GED batter of five tests: language arts/writing, language arts/reading, science, social studies, and mathematics. An important feature of the GED Tests is an essay that documents your ability to write and communicate effectively.
Hesperia Community Education offers FREE CLASSES to help prepare you for taking the GED. There is no charge to take the classes and GED tests are free to students enrolled and attending classes.
Each quarter a new open enrollment is offered as follows:
Summer June 1
Fall September 1
Winter December 1
Spring March 1
GED and eds Tests are given on the first and third Tuesday of every month during the year at 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Education Building, 232 S. Cook Street, Hesperia, MI 49421.
