Schools of Choice Forms

Want to join the Panther family but do not live in the district?


Hesperia Community Schools participates in the Schools of Choice program.


Which form you need will depend on two things:

If you live within the district you will participate in the Newaygo County Schools of Choice Program (abbreviated NCSOC)

If you live outside the Newaygo County School districts  you will participate in the Schools of Choice provision in Section 105c of the State School Aid Act (abbreviated 105c)

Notice of Board of Education Virtual Meeting
7:00 p.m.
Date: December 7, 2020

Due to COVID-19 concerns and social distancing requirements, this meeting will be held in person and/or electronically in accordance with Executive Order 2020-15. The public may view the meeting online with an opportunity for public comment as part of the Board Meeting Agenda.

To join the meeting online please email Vaughn White at whitev@hesp.net anytime until 6:30 p.m. on December 7, 2020. You will be sent a Zoom link to the meeting. If you wish to participate in public comments, please indicate in your email that you wish to participate at that time.

Facility Use Request

Requests for usage of the facilities are via FMX. Visitors need to call the district office at 231-854-6185 to schedule a room.

Panther Spotlights

Driver's Training Cap Driving School LLC will be hosting Drivers Training in Hesperia for the following dates. Segment 1 3:30 pm-5:30 pm February 25, 26 3:30-5:30 TH,F March 1-5 M,T,W,TH,F March 8-12 M,T,W,TH,F Segment 2 3:30 pm-5:30pm February 23, 24, 25 T,W,TH Due to Covid-19 restrictions, students are required to wear masks and will be limited in size. Available positions will be limited to the first registered and paid applicants. Please call (231) 215-3930 or (231) 215-0158 to register for class and more information. Segment 1 $300, Segment 2 $50 Checks payable to CAP Driving School LLC
