If you have not yet heard from your student’s bus driver, please be patient. Drivers have until the end of the day on Wednesday (8/19) to contact families. Before school begins, please take a few minutes to log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and complete your student’s enrollment forms. The link can be found by visiting our school website.

Our first day back is Monday, August 24! Please remember that it is a half day, with dismissal at 11:20 a.m.

Yesterday, Hesperia Schools hosted a School Transportation Professional Development for NCRESA Local Districts! Transportation professionals all joined together for Proactive Response Training put together through the M.A.P.T. and W.S.E.S.D.

Transportation Reminder:

If your student will require transportation services during the first week of school, please ensure that the Transportation Form is completed in PowerSchool by the end of the day on Monday, August 10th.

Transportation routing will be finalized after this deadline and will be paused until after the first week of school. Any forms submitted after August 10th may result in a delay in transportation.

Please Note: This is for all returning and newly enrolled students. These forms must be filled out annually.

Thanks to the support of our Hesperia Community Schools community, exciting improvements continue across the district!

This summer, high school bathroom renovations are well underway, and new window treatments are also being installed in classrooms as part of this phase of the 2026 Bond Project.

These upgrades are just a few of the many investments being made to enhance our schools for today's students and future generations.

Our Transportation Department is already preparing bus routes for the new school year!

Please take a moment to read the attached letter from Transportation Director Mr. Haddock regarding important registration deadlines. Completing registration on time helps ensure your child's transportation is ready for the first day of school.

Board Meeting Rescheduled
Please note that the Hesperia Community Schools Board of Education Regular Meeting has been moved to Monday, July 20, 2026.

Don't forget to stop by the Literacy Bus today until noon in the MS parking lot! Bring home a book to enjoy. There is no cost, and you'll get to see some friendly faces.

The Literacy Bus is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon this summer.
