The West Michigan Conference Top Student Luncheon is held each spring at Double JJ Resort, where member schools recognize outstanding seniors. Students who demonstrate excellence in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, and leadership represent Hesperia High School.

National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day!

We are so proud to share some exciting news from the 2026 Newaygo County True North Art Contest & Exhibit! Thanks to the creativity and leadership of our MS/HS Art Teacher, Mrs. Grimard, our students represented Hesperia with incredible talent and pride.

Due to current bridge closures on N. Maple Island Rd. and Michigan Ave. west of Ed’s, Route #7 and Route #2 may run up to 5–10 minutes later than normal until the matter is resolved.

The Class of 2026 partnered with the Hesperia Beautification Committee for their annual Senior Service Day. After starting the day with an early breakfast, they headed out for a wet morning of work. Students and volunteers planned to work throughout the Village, but due to significant rainfall, plans had to shift, keeping them in Webster Park for the day.

Seniors and Beautification Committee volunteers spent the morning working hard—pruning, raking, laying mulch, and picking up sticks. 🌧️

We are incredibly proud of our seniors for their flexibility, positive attitudes, and willingness to serve their community—rain or shine. 💚

We are incredibly proud of Hannah Hiddema, Christopher Hiddema, and Kloe Graham who represented HCS at West Michigan Student Showcase on March 24. Their hard work, professionalism, and dedication were evident throughout the event..

Kloe Graham won first place in Literary Arts! This is the first time a Hesperia High School student has won 1st place. The first place trophy is displayed in the high school office. You can read Kloe's poem submissions by following the link below.

The brother and sister duo, performed by Hannah and Christopher, was an amazing rendition of “Anything You Can Do” by Irving Berlin from the musical, Annie Get Your Gun.
